About the Team
The Corporate, Information, and Property Services Branch manages the Agency's property portfolio, including site fit-outs, capital works, maintenance, leasing, and relocations. The Property team is dedicated to delivering high-quality property management and project services across the Agency.

About the Role
As the EL2 Property Capital Works,you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex property capital works projects. This includes managing budgets, project risks, and relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. Your leadership will guide a team responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Agency's property portfolio.

  • Lead and manage detailed property capital works projects.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of construction project management (planning, design, procurement, delivery, and handover).
  • Prepare business cases, reports, and project updates.
  • Manage budgets and track project expenditure.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
  • Establish contracts and monitor contractor performance.
  • Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

About you
To thrive in this role, you need:

  • Proven experience in property capital projects with complex scopes.
  • Leadership and management experience in project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of Project and Construction Management systems.
  • Qualifications in Project Management.
  • Exceptional team leadership and accountability.
  • Experience with major program changes and rollouts.
  • Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen.
