A large real estate development company with properties across Sydney, the Southern Highlands, and the Riverina is seeking a full-time Bookkeeper. This role is offering the opportunity to work Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:
Support to the Company Accountant

  • Prepare and update development reports using pivot tables
  • Approve ABA and BPay payments
  • Assist with payroll tasks
  • Handle land tax reporting and liaise with relevant parties
  • Conduct annual reviews, prepare minutes, and handle ASIC-related tasks
  • Prepare reports for quarterly BAS
  • Provide weekly agenda and reporting for the Director

Accounts Receivable Management

  • Manage accounts for 16 entities in MYOB
  • Monthly invoicing for approximately 100 commercial tenants
  • Handle annual rent adjustments based on CPI or lease percentages
  • Issue invoices for on-charges to commercial tenants
  • Invoice for farm operations as directed
  • Raise credit notes as needed
  • Manage overdue payments and maintain tenant relationships
  • Update and maintain the commercial tenant database
  • Reconcile monthly statements from external real estate agencies

Support to Accounts Payable

  • Assist as required

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in software such as Excel, Access, MYOB, and Xero
  • Knowledge of commercial leases, bank guarantees, and the Rental Bond Board
  • Ability to manage workloads with accountability
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication, time management, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
