A leading regional development company is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team in a full-time Hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Company Accountant in preparing and updating development reports using pivot tables.
  • Approve ABA and BPay payments, and assist with payroll tasks.
  • Handle land tax reporting and liaise with relevant parties.
  • Conduct annual reviews, prepare minutes, and handle ASIC-related tasks.
  • Prepare reports for quarterly BAS, and provide weekly agenda and reporting for the Director.

Accounts Receivable Management:

  • Manage accounts for 16 entities in MYOB, and monthly invoice approximately 100 commercial tenants.
  • Handle annual rent adjustments based on CPI or lease percentages, and issue invoices for on-charges to commercial tenants.
  • Raise credit notes as needed, and manage overdue payments and maintain tenant relationships.
  • Update and maintain the commercial tenant database, and reconcile monthly statements from external real estate agencies.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in software such as Excel, Access, MYOB, and Xero.
  • Knowledge of commercial leases, bank guarantees, and the Rental Bond Board.
  • Ability to manage workloads with accountability, and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
