About You :
- In final year of degree or a recent graduate of Bachelor of Speech Pathology
- Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia

Position Summary :
As a Graduate Speech Pathologist you will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessment and implementing custom therapy programs for your clients. Your role is to provide knowledge and support to assist with all areas of communication and social development, including speech, language, literacy, fluency and play skills. Up-skilling for families and other communication partners is a key component of your role. Your caseload will involve seeing clients with a variety of diagnoses and disorders, in particular, autism spectrum disorders. In this role you will work under the supervision of experienced speech pathologists and will rely on your continual learning and expertise in delivering therapy to clients while enhancing clinical skills and delivering on clinical targets for the practice.

- Proven track record in creating efficiency and meeting targets

- Ability to work within a team and autonomously

Job Responsibility :
- Provide communication consultation and oversight of programs, to both therapist team and to clients while under supervision of senior speech pathologists
- Be open to learning and enhancing learning capabilities through administering varied case load
- Provide therapy to clients within the program models
- Provide direct speech and language therapy, train and support clients to run goals and interventions
- Administer speech and language assessments, develop and implement therapy plans for any speech and language referrals
- Monitor, evaluate and review progress and therapy plans
- Undertake appropriate training and development, including self-reflection
- Work collaboratively within teams to provide holistic therapy programs
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Demonstrate a commitment to meeting client and organisational expectations
- Adopt and embrace company values and philosophy
- Ensure the environment is kept in a safe and hygienic state at all times
- Commitment to work as an effective team member
- Promote the company and it’s interests to the local and wider community
- Ensure all communication is completed in a professional and polite manner, to all internal and external stakeholders
