THE OPPORTUNITY 

We are looking for a self-motivated IT Security Manager to lead our efforts to safeguard Baby Bunting against the increasing threats in today's digital world.

In this stand-alone role, reporting directly to the GM of IT, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing the strategy, driving the security operating model, building a security culture, managing security technology and service providers, and assisting the business in meeting its information security compliance obligations.

ABOUT YOU

  • You have a minimum of 8 years’ experience within information security and risk across a diverse range of security disciplines
  • For the past few years you will have been working in a senior cyber security management role, ideally with responsibility for developing the security strategy and roadmap
  • You have prior experience implementing and operating SIEM, endpoint security, network security, vulnerability scanning, internet security and cloud security tools and technologies
  • You thrive in a fast-moving, flatly structured organisations where you’re the trusted advisor and can use your broad and deep knowledge to think fast and make good decisions.
  • Tertiary or industry qualifications in IT, cyber or a related field (e.g. CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISK, CCSP)
  • Involvement with relevant industry groups (e.g. AISA, ISACA)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Strategy, Roadmap & Operating Model

  • Design & implement an organisational-wide security strategy and roadmap that is informed by business risk and cyber security maturity measured by NIST CSF or similar frameworks
  • Manage the cyber security budget, and initiate, manage and complete projects that progress the cyber security roadmap within agreed budgets
  • Manage the delivery of high-quality security projects and artifacts, ensuring 'secure by design' principles are integrated into company products and services
  • Partner with the technology teams and external service providers to manage and improve the effectiveness of security technology and services

Advisory, Partnership and Culture

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business and externally, influencing security practices and culture
  • Help teams and the organisation understand their security risks and roles, and solve security problems
  • Educate application owners and SMEs in good application governance and security policies and practices

Compliance

  • Partner with the Digital Team, IT, Store Operations, Finance to manage PCI-DSS compliance
  • Report PCI compliance to interested parties
