Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with technology teams and external service providers to enhance the effectiveness of security technologies and services.
  • Oversee the cybersecurity budget and manage projects that advance the security roadmap while adhering to financial constraints.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, influencing security practices and cultivating a security-focused culture.
  • Assist in managing PCI-DSS and NIST compliance and report on compliance status to relevant parties and internally semi-annually.

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced IT Security Manager who has a strong background in managing IT Security and ideally comes from a blended background of GRC, Ops, and Consulting. If you have experience in retail or a fast-paced environment dealing with sensitive data, this is a plus.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in setting/shaping a strategy, questioning the status quo, and influencing others and the business.
  • Demonstrate hands-on knowledge in implementing and operating security tools and technologies such as SIEM, endpoint security, network security, and cloud security and how to foster good relationships with vendors.
  • Thrive in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment, where you are a trusted advisor and can make quick, informed decisions.
  • Hold relevant certifications in CISM, CISSP, CISA, or CCSP and be involved in the industry to build good relationships with peers and vendors.
