Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Site Security Specialist. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that will involve some domestic travel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the physical site security, ensuring compliance with company requirements and operations. This will include:

  • Managing security processes, procedures, and instructions to ensure alignment with company needs.
  • Investigating and reporting security incidents.
  • Overseeing security contracts and coordinating monthly management reviews.
  • Conducting routine checks and reporting on operational security measures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Operating, configuring, and providing reports on access control and security alarm systems to optimize their performance.
  • Coordinating with technical contractors for maintenance and installations of technical security systems.
  • Administering video and key management systems, document storage, and destruction.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks, and excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Key qualifications include:

  • A Certificate in Security and Risk Management is preferred, with Health and Safety desirable.
  • Certificate in Cyber Security.
  • Demonstrated experience in Security and Risk Management is essential.
  • Experience in security access control, alarm, and vision systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel skills.
  • Occasional travel to other Bosch sites, warehouses, and scrap yards within metropolitan Melbourne, with a valid Australian Driving License essential.
  • Proactive with strong problem-solving skills.
  • An eye for detail with emphasis on process.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
