Join the Commercial and Personal Injury (CPI) Data Analytics and Reporting team which is part of the Commercial and Personal Injury business. Key responsibility of leading the data analytics and reporting for Commercial and Personal Injury Insurance division covering all Commercial Products, Workers Insurance (Underwritten and ICare), & CTP.

The purpose of the role is to drive the CPI Data and Analytics Strategy as we continue to uplift our analytical capability, through the design and build of advance analytics solutions and driving the culture of data driven decision making across CPI business. Leading, developing and mentoring a team of senior and highly technical team of 12 team members which includes offshore analytics partners. The team provides all the analytical support to various CPI teams across all Commercial Insurance products, Workers Insurance (Underwritten), & Personal Injury, and all the other areas within CPI business.

The role contributes to the financial performance of the CPI by providing key performance and insights. Support the CPI team by building and maintaining the advance suite of self-serve performance dashboards, providing analytical and data science support by providing deep insights and driving a profitable growth to achieve the strategic objectives. Team also provides data and analytical support to strategic and regulatory projects within the CPI business.

What you’ll do (not limited to):

Execution of Commercial and Personal Injury Insurance Data and Analytics Strategy with a vision of 2030Drive profitable growth and assist in achieving financial and strategic targets through provision of performance metrics and insightsProviding deep insights using advance analytics and data science techniquesDrive the strategic thinking and working with Pricing and DET to deliver single data source and continuous build of portfolio and pricing analytics data layerSupport CPI teams in various analytics initiatives and provide adhoc analytical support where needed.

What you will bring:

Degree in Finance, Business, Actuarial or related field is mandatoryMinimum 5 years relevant analytical and leadership experience in insurance or financial industryAdvanced knowledge of SAS. At least intermediate level proficiency in Python/R.Strong understanding of ML concepts backed by demonstrable experience and successful productionisation/deployment.Leadership skills and experience in leading a team of highly qualified analystsSound understanding of insurance data, advance analytics, and modelling techniquesSound knowledge around key financial drivers of insurance portfolios and how these impact financial results.
