About This Role
The Sales Executive will play a fundamental role in driving 4impacts sales activities into new customers within your region. You'll be at the forefront of our customer engagement, providing thought leadership and expertise, listening, leading, guiding and helping our clients achieve their business objectives.
To succeed in this role, you will be comfortable executing on the go-to-market strategy for your territory, which includes growing new logo, and be experienced selling complex Data and Systems Integration Services and Solutions. On a personal level, you have a positive “Let’s do it” attitude, be client focused and results driven.
What You Will Do
- Take ownership of your allocated territory by creating and executing go to market plans to prospect, identify, qualify, develop, propose and close sales pipeline
- Articulate and manage a Complex Sales Cycle with responsibility for demonstrating the value of 4imact, our solutions and partner offerings
- Expand our customer base, strategically prospecting to C-Level, IT Leaders and Technical End-Users
- Develop and nurture strong and effective client and partner relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
- Build awareness for Kafka and Confluent within government and large enterprises and establish trusting relationships and credibility with partners and end users
- Close business to exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives
- Align closely with our Pre Sales, Solutions Engineering and Delivery teams to deliver a world-class customer experience
Skills You Bring
- 5+ years Sales and/or Business Development experience, ideally in the Technology or Software industry
- Proven sales achievement in a complex, solution sales environment selling Enterprise Data Integration, Systems Integration, Managed Services, Annuity Software and Data Services
- Deep experience selling within the Database, Open Source, Messaging, Cloud, and/or Big Data space
- Bonus if you have a strong understanding of Streaming Technologies, Apache Kafka, Confluent, and the data solutions market
- Bachelor’s level degree in Computer Science, Business or relevant experience
- Rigorous Sales Methodology and Sales Process, proven by accurate forecasts and clear communication throughout the deal cycle
- Established relationships within the QLD market, across Enterprise and Government
