Perpetual Group is an ASX-listed company (ASX:PPT) headquartered in Sydney, Australia, currently consisting of 11 leading brands across three distinct businesses: Asset Management, Wealth Management and Corporate Trust.

Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review, on Wednesday 8 May 2024 it was announced that Perpetual Limited (Perpetual) would become a standalone Asset Management business. As a result, Perpetual has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. (together with its affiliates, (KKR)) who will acquire 100% of the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.

About the role

As part of the Separation Management Office, the Workday Specialist will create a cloned and separated Workday environment for Perpetual’s wealth management and corporate trust businesses with the guidance and support of the internal Workday team and external partner assistance

As the Workday specialist, you will:

  • Manage the configuration, testing and data purge process (where appropriate) to establish a separated Workday environment, including any identified integrations

  • Conduct Perpetual tenant analysis (incl business processes and integrations) and complete change impact assessment of where processes and/or modules may deviate in a separated environment

  • Partner with internal Workday team and external partner to design separation project plan and identify key milestones

  • Review security roles and groups, ensuring new roles align with any organisational design and change processes

  • Manage the configuration and maintenance of user access, control files, parameters and system processing rules

  • Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of data, eliminating duplicates and inconsistencies

  • Ensure ongoing integrity of the HR data by completing quality assurance checking of processes as the change process is executed

  • Work with Separation Data Stream to ensure access rights and visibility of current and historical employee data is managed appropriately

  • Assist where required on the support of twice yearly major Workday releases - regression testing, feature review, learning etc..

About you

  • Workday HCM training or certification highly desirable

  • Significant experience with Workday, system administration, configuration, integrations, permissions/access controls and front-end application use is essential.

  • Experience with Project Management / Business Analyst experience is desired

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical terminology to a wider stakeholder group

  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management

  • Adaptable to working in an environment undergoing significant change
