Job Description

This role is critical to ensuring the seamless delivery of IT services and solutions that support our mission. As the Senior Vendor Manager, you will oversee the selection, negotiation, and management of our ICT vendors, ensuring the best value and quality of service.

  • Develop and implement vendor management strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors, ensuring they meet our standards and requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors.
  • Monitor vendor performance and compliance, addressing any issues or discrepancies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and audits.
  • Manage vendor risk and ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to understand their needs and ensure vendor solutions align with these needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise vendor performance and cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and present reports on vendor performance and metrics to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in vendor management, particularly in the ICT sector.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and management.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, infrastructure, and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
