About the Role

The Manager Customer and Community Engagement is responsible forstrategic communications, customer service and community engagementfor CareSouth. The position holds broad responsibility for thedevelopment of communications, marketing, community relations,media management, fundraising, partnerships and customer contactacross all audiences to drive the strategic business goals. Thisopportunity is a 12 month fixed term position which is covering aperiod of parental leave.

If successful, you will work in conjunction with the ExecutiveOfficers and the senior management team, and also be responsiblefor developing customer, marketing and communications strategiesfor the key business operational areas in order to drive growth andcustomer experience. This position is part of the CareSouthExecutive Team and as such works together with other members of theteam to meet strategic goals, identify and support improvements,and confirm and define projects to help achieve our strategic goalsand organisational purpose.

In order to be successful in this role you willhave:

Demonstrate a commitment to the safety of children, young people and people with a disability. Degree qualification in marketing communications or relevant management qualification. Detailed knowledge of human services. Ability to think strategically and develop effective and practical solutions to complex business problems. Proven ability to identify, collaborate on, develop and implement strategic marketing and community engagement plans that deliver on business growth objectives. High level communication skills both written and verbal. Strong technical understanding of social media, CRM and database systems and their application to marketing and human services delivery. Proven capacity to work at an Executive level.
