**What you'll be doing**
The Asset Performance and Optimisation Manager is accountable for continuously improving asset performance (reliability, operational availability, maintainability, and supportability) while optimising the total cost of ownership.
The Asset Performance and Optimisation Manager is responsible for developing a robust asset performance management framework and effective lifecycle strategies to support the delivery of the Asset Management Objectives.
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

**Selection Criteria**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as, Engineering, Asset Management, Maintenance, Manufacturing, and/or Heavy Industry and/or equivalent experience.
- Eligibility for professional accreditation(s) such as Certified Senior Practitioner (CSAM), Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or relevant equivalent accreditation.
- Demonstrated experience in the development, management and compliance of an asset management system in accordance with ISO 55001.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills, including those skills required to work effectively within a matrix organisation.
- Advanced understanding of data analysis, lifecycle modelling, and reporting.
- Demonstrated financial management capability with respect to Asset Management and business unit performance.
