Facilities & Maintenance Team Leader - Melbourne South RDC
Exciting opportunity for a talented Facilities and Maintenance Team Leader to join our National Distribution Centre at Melbourne South RDC in Dandenong South Play an integral part in our Primary Connect purpose of “ We connect communities with the products they need and love” Support the Facilities & Maintenance Manager to support in ensuring a safe, compliant & functional site for the team and communityIn October 2020, Woolworths Group Supply Chain rebranded to become Primary Connect - an end-to-end supply chain partner within Woolworths Group. Our team of more than 8,000 continues to support our Woolworths, Countdown, and BIG W stores across the country, providing them with our customers’ favourite food, drink, and everyday needs items. The Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to coordinate day-to-day activities of all matters relating to F&M operations, engineering, risk and compliance. Some of the F&M operational, compliance and team support roles under your purview are:
Support the F&M Manager in tasks relating to F&M operations, engineering, risk and compliance Monitor F&M contractor works and activities, to ensure all works are satisfactorily and safely completed to Primary Connect policies, procedures and standards, so as to minimise disruption to occupants and operators Conduct and complete DC-specific property and F&M related inspections as assigned Comply to WOW Group and Primary Connect F&M policies and procedures, including site-specific requirements and/or reporting requirements File, report & record maintenance records and incident management Support team's compliance to WOW and Primary Connect's policies and proceduresWho we’re looking for

Strong verbal & written communication skills to effectively build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders Experience in the facilities and/or property industry, industrial preferred Basic knowledge of WHS legislation, practices and building services Excellent organisation and administrative skills Basic understanding of key building services, preferably in industrial property Ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and inputs from internal and external stakeholdersWhy you’ll love it here
