About the Project

Gold Coast Light Rail has transformed public transport on the Gold Coast, helping create an integrated network that connects more people to more places in one of Australia's most dynamic and fastest growing cities.
John Holland is GoldlinQ's nominated design and construction contractor for GCLR3, to extend the existing light rail network by 6.7kms from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads, including eight new light rail stations, two new light rail-bus connections, and intersection upgrades along the alignment.


Jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments, and the City of Gold Coast, this city-shaping project will link communities to business centres, shopping, dining, education and medical facilities and cater to the Gold Coast's expected population growth in the coming decades.


As construction of GCLR3 gets under way, John Holland is recruiting for a talented and driven Project Administrator to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of this iconic Gold Coast project.

About the role

Working within the Finance & Accounts Team - this role will provide administrative and office support relating to records management, data entry, accounts/invoices, purchasing, procurement, communications and meeting/event logistics.

Responsibilities of the role include

Communicate and liaise with stakeholder including suppliers/subcontractors, delivery team and senior management to resolve any queries relating to the contract Review variations to allocated suppliers/subcontractors, working closely with activity code owners and the broader commercial team Review and process claims/invoices Analyse data and prepare relevant reports for contracts management Management of Monthly Claims Registers, ensuring claims are entered and are in accordance with the Security of Payments Act Prepare month-end accurals when required

To be successful in this role, you must have

Previous experience working with a Tier 1 contractor in an administration role Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication skills
