Position Details

Head of Community – Full-time, Ongoing

The Head of Community has a key role in fostering a sense of connection and belonging at the College. In growing community, the Head of Community promotes a friendly, hospitable and respectful environment that upholds the value and dignity of all.

As leaders of the College Priories, the Heads of Community ensure the health and wellbeing of students as they progress through the year levels at the College. Their careful monitoring of students and connection with families supports the development of an inclusive and trusting environment where the pastoral needs of students are met. The role includes the development of quality performance management strategies that are proven positive psychology interventions, restorative in nature and allow students to consistently thrive in achieving high standards of personal growth and self-regulation.

As key leaders in the College, the Heads of Community guide their staff teams in fulfilling their roles of pastoral care teachers and relationship builders of students
