Sr. Account Manager/ Account Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the account strategy that is focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Each day, you will coordi-nate sales activities, monitor current projects, and manage the resolution of specific customer prob-lems. You will also showcase your expertise by giving input on market price developments and tenden-cies. The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Energy Industries business and can be based in Brisbane, Singleton or Sydney. You will be mainly accountable for: •Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work growth ac-tions. •Understanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sus-tainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer’s business and business environment, translating them into the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB. •Participating in the development of sales strategies for the account through providing current busi-ness and long-term plans for the customer. •Defining sales targets, giving input on market price developments monitoring competitors’ ac-tivity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are implemented. This position reports to Segment Sales Manager Grade 12

Qualifications for the role

  • Engineering degree and significant experience in Oil and Gas, Chemical and Refinery customer base.
  • Significant experience as Account Manager in the same segment
  • International, cross-BU and cross-division experience
  • Understanding of DCS, ICSS, ENMCS solutions
  • Knowledge of similar solutions available in the market would be beneficial
  • Fluent in English
