The Role:
As a Commercial Analyst at Bis Industries, you will play a crucial role in identifying and developing commercial opportunities that align with our strategic goals. You will be responsible for performing in-depth financial and strategic analysis, supporting business leaders in commercial negotiations, and providing insights that drive the commercial performance of our contracts. Your work will directly impact the success of our operations, making this a key position within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct financial analysis, including financial modelling, to evaluate new business opportunities and optimise existing contracts. Perform strategic and commercial analysis of potential and existing customers and competitors. Identify opportunities for commercial improvement within current operations and recommend actionable strategies. Develop comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate analysis results to the Executive Committee for approval. Identify and mitigate risks in existing and proposed contracts through thorough analysis and strategic planning. Support business leaders in commercial negotiations and interactions with customers.
What You Bring:
Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or Accounting. Experience: Strong background in financial, strategic, and commercial analysis, with the ability to work autonomously and manage diverse internal and external stakeholders. Skills: Advanced Excel skills are essential, with experience in Power BI and JDE being advantageous. You should also have a proven ability to influence outcomes, meet tight deadlines, and build effective internal networks. Industry Knowledge: Direct exposure to operations in heavy industry or mining is highly regarded.
