At ING, the Daily Banking Tribe is responsible for driving the end-to-end performance of the Daily Banking business through development of a clear strategy, and working collaboratively with all areas of the business to drive cross functional execution of this strategy.

We are looking for a Senior Risk Manager , to join the Daily Banking Tribe Leadership Team within the Retail Bank. This role will be accountable for leading, designing and strategy setting the customer experiences that sit around our foundational customer obligations (KYC, Risk, Policy, Systems & Data). They will have a sharp eye for how to optimise processes for customers whilst meeting Risk, Regulatory and overall ING targets. This also includes the business casing, investment planning and orchestrating the delivery of key initiatives across the bank.

What You’ll Do

Coordinate issues and incidents affecting our private individual retail clients Monitor activities, and coordination of decisions that ensure customer base remains within risk appetite Monitor, oversee and lead the customer data quality improvement initiatives to ensure obligations dependent to customer data can be met Design and coordinate the business principles for retail customers as it relates to our key foundational customer processes ( for example data quality, data access rights and governance, customer accessibility, vulnerability and gender identification). Optimise the obligations experiences and journeys with a customer and commercial lens, and provide input to KYC Tribe in order to drive business impact providing the commercial and business input for any KYC, AML, CRS FATCA enhancement activities (including product restrictions or controls, new policies). Control and governance of our product suite within established risk control frameworks, reporting, event and issue management and audit.

What We’re Looking For

10+ years banking product, risk or governance and service experience Experience in articulating strategy and setting strategic direction with others (including identifying key priorities and initiative sequencing) Understanding of KYC, Data Governance, Financial Services Regulatory landscape and obligations Experience in product design or process improvement and operational efficiency programs, with a lens on customer experience at the core. Demonstrable experience leading or influencing changes to products and customer journeys to improve the quality of governance, compliance or health of overall customer due diligence portfolio Experience with both quantitative and qualitative research techniques Experience leading a team and/or working as part of a squad (and Tribe) within an Agile working environment
