Procurement Project Lead

Our client is a leading national retailer currently seeking a Procurement Project Lead to help drive both technology and process changes to better support the business procurement capabilities.

Your new role will see you working closely with the Procurement leadership group to optimise both technology use and processes across the procurement domain. This role will see you help identify and implement significant improvements in the technology the business uses to manage their vast procurement activities. Your will also play a key role in implementing continuous improvement initiatives to help streamline and strengthen the processes already in place. Ultimately, this will support a new operating model for both insourced and outsourced services across the organisation.

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Procurement transformation or practitioner role
  • A solid understanding of the entire Source to Contract/Pay process and operational practices
  • Hands on experience working with Source to Pay systems such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, and Zycus etc.
  • Prior deploying procurement technology, managing change and implementing process improvements
  • Experience planning, executing and (ideally) leading projects, including managing planning, budgets, change and interdependencies

Our client is offering an initial contract until the end of June 2025 with the view to extension. Offices are based in the inner Melbourne suburbs with a requirement to be on-site 3 days per week.
