Leave and Accommodations Administrator

Responsibilities Include:
Interprets and administers leave programs and policies in accordance with the applicable federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, USERRA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, etc.) Administers all aspects of leave programs. Provides extensive case management and coordinatesadministrative aspects of the cases and claims. Manages all administrative aspects of leave to include tracking hours used/taken, analyze, investigate, and reconcile leave and pay discrepancies, working closely with Payroll to ensure that pay for employees is accurate and correct. Manages STD/LTD programs and vendor relationships. Ensures that STD claims are coordinated with FMLA or other types of leaves of absence. Maintains reasonable communication with employees on leave to facilitate smooth and timely return to work, and relaying communication between employees and their managers during leave within reason. Train and educate the campus community on applicable leave and accommodation practices and procedures. Drafts and/or recommends revisions to company leave policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and maintains complete and accurate records of leave and accommodation requests. Chair of the UDC Accommodation & Accessibility Subcommittee. Other duties as assigned. This position has been designated as a Campus Security Authority.
