Working at Transurban is different; it’s a place where you can see the benefits of your work play out in real life, every day. We create city-sized solutions—building and operating safer, smarter, and more sustainable roads—to solve pressing transport challenges that are slowing cities down.
About the role
We’re seeking a Product Manager – Rewards to define and maintain the Rewards product vision and drive the product roadmap from early stage to scale.
You’ll join an innovative team, who will work collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
As our Product Manager - Rewards, you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work.
Day-to-day, you will:
· Develop a product vision and strategic roadmap, creating buy-in and inspiring squads to bring the vision and roadmap to life
· Clearly articulate and translate the product vision from big picture down to the finer details including the product roadmap.
· Facilitate collaboration across the program including product owners, designers, engineers for input and alignment on the product strategy and roadmap
· Support the delivery squads in prioritising tasks or features in a way that puts the needs of members first, while taking into account business requirements.
· Ensure the effective delivery of team activities, such as ideation, discovery, requirements clarification activities, product showcases and agile ceremonies.
· Coordinate the investigation, selection, and prioritisation of the highest value product initiatives across the Rewards eco-system.
· Ensure extensive use of data, analytics, member & employee feedback, member journey maps, member complaints and issues, user research and business intelligence tools, to identify pain points and opportunities for innovation and improvement.
· Lead, mentor and develop a team of product owners, designers, and engineers.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
· Great communication and interpersonal skills – Building collaborative, productive and trusting internal and external stakeholder relationships through the effective use of influencing and networking skills.
· Previous experience as a product manager with a focus on loyalty programs or customer-centric products.
· Proven senior-level experience in product management within a marketplace or platform
· Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business results.
· Possess strong project management skills, including an ability to hold your program stakeholders accountable to high standards and manage risk
· Ability to work in an innovative, fast-paced and digital-first environment, with a start-up mindset and value focus
· Proven experience managing and coaching a multi-disciplinary team
· Experience working with Loyalty/Rewards teams is a plus
· Prior experience at an early/growth stage startup would be advantageous
If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
With a career at Transurban, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits, including:
· A range of flexible working and leave options, including the option to purchase an additional six weeks of leave each year
· 16 weeks paid parental leave (regardless of gender or carer status), with no waiting period, with Superannuation paid during unpaid leave as well
· Learning and development opportunities to support your career interests
· Health and wellbeing support—access to Headspace and our EAP program, wellness facilities, and more
· Share offers and insurance benefits
· Social activities, community give-back programs and paid volunteer days
We offer a range of flexible working and leave options, so you can balance your work and life commitments and interests. Have a conversation with us about how this could work for you.
We embrace diversity with a foundation of safety, wellbeing and inclusion; where everyone belongs. We treat everyone with fairness, consideration and respect, regardless of gender, gender identity, marital or family status, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, religious beliefs, cultural or socio-economic background, perspective, and experience – whether they work for us or not. We want to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe to express ideas, questions and concerns.
We strongly encourage applications from candidates of diverse backgrounds and lived experiences, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people living with disability. If you require any adjustments or support during the recruitment process, please contact us on careers@transurban.com.
