Maximum term, full-time (5 years) Level 10: Attractive annual remuneration package availableThe Strategy Division within the DVC Strategy & Assurance portfolio provides essential support to the University as it strives to achieve the strategic goals and objectives identified in its Strategic Plan. It is a small team with a diverse, demanding, and high-profile portfolio that interacts with all areas of the University.
The Associate Director, Strategy is a senior leadership position reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) with responsibility in assisting to implement the University’s strategic planning and reporting framework. The role’s core purpose is to support the CSO in analysis, facilitation, and communication of strategically aligned programs and initiatives, aimed at enhancing and improving organisational performance and ultimately delivering on our organisational goals and objectives. The Associate Director will work across UOW with leaders, faculty, and staff in academic and administrative units throughout to help address their priorities, while also advancing the University’s defined strategic priorities.
The Associate Director will have demonstrated strategic leadership skills, along with strong planning, resource, and program management skills. They will also have an extensive knowledge of current public policy, trends and challenges in relation to higher education in Australia as well as have thorough experience in developing organisational effective frameworks coupled with excellent relationship management skills.
