Position Purpose
Our client, a leading provider who is devoted to worker's wellbeing, require an intake officer for their Newcastle location. The intake officer will be the first point of contact for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) clients, and to take down their information, allocate a counsellor and book in first appointments in this Part-Time position.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls, complete the intake online and allocate to the relevant counsellor
- Book appointments and follow up on appointments
- Keep confidential records
- Follow up with external providers
- Maintain and update records
- Other tasks as directed by the CEO
Desirable Qualifications:
- Studying as a health professional, preferably mental health
- Qualification in mental health; diploma in counselling
- Customer service experience
- ASIST or MHFA - these qualifications will be provided as part of a requirement of employment
