The opportunity
In this role, you will lead the development of key educational programs, including Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Formal Education Courses (FECs), and the implementation of the Council of Medical Colleges (CMC) cultural safety training for vocational medicine. You will manage compliance and operational processes to ensure ongoing accreditation and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create high-quality CPD activities and resources. Additionally, you will oversee policy development, high-stakes reporting, document preparation for committees, and submissions to the Australian and NZ Medical Councils.
The salary range on offer is from $101,300 to $126,600 inclusive of Super and Leave Loading. For more details, please refer to the Position Description.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will need at least 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in medical or health professions education, with strong expertise in project, program, and change management, particularly in delivering large, complex projects. Qualifications in training or education, or equivalent experience in medical/health professions education, are essential. You should have a solid understanding of medical or postgraduate education, CPD, quality improvement, and governance within medical specialist environments. Experience in medical workforce policy development and regulatory compliance is highly desirable. Applicants must be Australian citizens, permanent residents, or New Zealand citizens.
