Administration / Data Entry Clerk
Our client based in Prestons has a requirement for a Data Entry Clerk who are seeking a part-time administration clerk to be part of their team. The role will consist of data entry and customer enquiries as well as driver paperwork and allocations.The role will primarily be working closely with the Administration Supervisor to assist with the day-to-day functions of the business.
The successful candidate would have:
Minimal Transport experience with a can-do attitude willing to grow and learn in a successful environment. Previous Refrigerated Transport and Warehousing experience is highly desirable. Must have previous office administration experience or used;SWIMS – preferred but not required.
Proficient in Microsoft programs, i.e Outlook, Excel
On Demand - preferred but not required
Tasks required;
Consolidating driver/warehouse paperwork
Completing COR Forms
Updating store orders
The right candidates will be offered:
Excellent workplace culture & working environment. Full time hours with OT available and part time hours day and afternoon Training the opportunity to learn both Transport Planner and Transport Bookings roles to fill in on Leave, Sick and potentially replace if a position became available.Ultimately the successful candidate must be willing to learn new aspects of the Transport business and will want to work, learn and grow within the industry.
As per the application process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre Employment Medical (conducted by our Onsite Occupational Nurse during the interview stage) which includes a Drug and Alcohol test.
