Aboutthe role

A ProcurementBusiness Partner will proactively facilitate and support thedelivery of the Procurement strategy and framework in collaborationwith sections and teams across Council. This will includeeducation, influencing, guiding, coaching, and collaborating withinternal stakeholders and will share the responsibility for thedelivery of all Source to Contract, Procure to Pay and BestPractice strategies withing Council.

This rolewill work collaboratively and constructively with managers toensure council undertakes all procurement and contractingactivities in a manner that reduces organisational expenditure,maintains acceptable and appropriate probity levels, and minimisesrisk, particularly reputational risk, through the provision of highlevel, strategic, professional, informed advice.

Aboutyou

To besuccessful in this role you will have Bachelor level qualificationsin Procurement and/or Supply, Contract Law, Business, or relevantexperience. You will have proven experience in a Procurementfocussed Business Partnering role within a diversemulti-disciplined organisation. Knowledge of Source toContract and Procure to Pay management practices, and the LocalGovernment framework (Local Government Act and Regulations) isdesirable. You will have the ability to educate, influence,coach mentor and forge strong stakeholder relationships based onthe provision of informed, sound advice that builds an environmentof trust and respect.

Our desiredapplicant will demonstrate strategic thinking, personal resilienceand self-awareness and will model the highest standard of ethicaland professional behaviour and act with integrity andconfidentiality whilst representing council internally andexternally.

You will havea C Class drivers’ licence.
