About the role:
Join a leading financial organisation based in Sydney CBD, where huge transformations are underway. Our client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect (Azure) to play a crucial role in their large-scale integration and separation projects.
 
As an Application Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising application architecture, focusing on separation and integration initiatives. Leveraging your expertise in MS Azure and stakeholder engagement, you’ll drive iterative project cycles to ensure scalable, cloud-based solutions.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end application architectures using MS Azure for large-scale integration and separation projects, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance on application integration, cloud migration, and architecture best practices, ensuring alignment with organisational standards
  • Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, provide architecture recommendations, and drive alignment across teams
  • Manage the development process, providing continuous feedback and reporting at each cycle to ensure projects stay on track and meet business needs
  • Ensure seamless interaction between applications, addressing data storage, cloud infrastructure, and integration challenges, especially in highly regulated environments
  • Ensure that architecture aligns with regulatory requirements and that proper governance is followed across all projects

About you:

  • Proven experience as an Applications Architect, ideally within financial services
  • Strong knowledge of MS Azure platform and cloud-based application architecture
  • Azure Cloud technical understanding and knowledge across how apps interact
  • Experience with separation or integration projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage iterative reporting and multiple project cycles
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
