ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning person to join our Mercantile team as an Administration Officer. Enjoy the security of this permanent part-time position, working approximately 20 hours per week. We are flexible on the working days and times, however our preference is 4 hours a day, 5 days per week.

In this role your key responsibilities would include:  

·         General administrative duties: issue new instructions from finance clients, manage updates for field agents and clients, invoicing for suppliers and clients, email management and data entry

·         Quality check work received from field agents and/or clients to ensure jobs are completed adhering to guidelines.

·         Follow up queries whilst providing exceptional customer service via email and/or phone.

·         Maintain internal systems in accordance with field agent, client, and organisational procedures.

·         Adhere to all confidentiality & privacy policies and procedures; and

·         Provide assistance to the organisation by efficiently handling general office administrative tasks in a proactive and effective manner

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

·         Previous administration experience, preferably in the finance industry

·         Proficient in the Microsoft office suite

·         Great interpersonal skills

·         A keen eye for detail

·         Motivated and shows initiative

·         Time management, organisational & multitasking skills

·         Professional, positive, and ethical attitude
