We are seeking to appoint a Business Development Director to our Growth & Sales Team based in either Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne who will help support our ANZ Transport - Rail, Ports and Aviation Sales Unit. In this role you will be responsible for driving growth with a focus on offering tailored solutions to our existing and future clients. 

Reporting to the ANZ Market Director - Rail, Ports & Aviation, the successful candidate will be expected to understand our client’s strategies, challenges, and opportunities, and systematically explore, and innovate to deliver pragmatic solutions. You will consider Jacobs’ capabilities globally and identify market trends to help pre-empt and lead client needs. You will be across the current and emerging trends and be able to formulate and implement short and long-term strategies to position Jacobs in the market. 

Here's what you'll need

  • Ideally 15+ years of relevant experience, including Consultancy, Sales, Business Development, Client Account Management and/or Operations. 
  • Strong client relationships within the ANZ Rail market
  • Adaptable and flexible. Willing to support the wider Sales Unit as directed.
  • Well networked, connected, trusted and credible.
  • A tertiary qualification in business, engineering, or a relevant field.
