Reporting to theGeneral Manager Risk and Safety, the Risk & Safety Manager willwork in partnership with the Risk & Safety Team to build riskand safety capability across PCYC. Key requirements of the roleinclude fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvementacross the organisation; maintaining and updating the safetymanagement system whilst ensuring compliance with relevantregulations and industry standards.
AboutYou
Degree level qualification and/or a minimum of five (5) years relevant industry experience Able to demonstrate a detailed understanding and ability to interpret relevant legislation and regulations Demonstrated experience in dealing with and managing risk Demonstrated experience with successfully leading risk and safety process improvement projects Experience in writing and deploying policies and procedures using different communication methods and training tools A proven ability in being able to analyse and interpret data Well-developed communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships Effective time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks, forward plan, meet deadlines and deliver results and commitments Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office products Ability to travel across the State, as requiredPlease note:Working With Children Check (Blue Card) No Card, No Start andRestricted Person legislation applies. All PCYC employees arerequired to complete a National Police Check uponcommencement.
