The Position

  • Immediate requirement for a Design Coordinator to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.
  • The role is to be part of our on-site Design Management team managing technical obligations on all relevant design management processes and solutions.
  • The role involves satisfying the needs of the clients and stakeholders to achieve overall specific and commercial, contractual and quality requirements
  • With a long history of building some of NSW iconic buildings, A W Edwards will be around in the decades ahead and will be able to offer the successful Design Coordinator a long-term career and opportunities to advance into Design Management.
  • The role initially involves working closely and collaboratively with site-based roles on a major Data Centre project in Western Sydney.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience overseeing and managing Design and BIM Coordination within the construction or adjacent similar sector – This role would suit an experienced Graduate Architect or Project Architect with strong 3D Modelling/BIM Coordination skills/experience on large-scale commercial projects.
  • Proven contribution to projects of similar sectors and values within the design and construction phases
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry relevant tools and software – Revizto, Revit, BIM 360, Navisworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative and consultative working relationships
  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and reliable
  • Very strong attention to detail
