An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Designer Coordinator to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Design Development Team to set up tech packs following handovers from the design department.
  • Coordinate strike-off requests, lab dips, knit downs, and print placement requests with factories.
  • Manage print strike-off trackers and communicate updates to the design team.
  • Assist Garment Technicians with measuring photoshoot samples.
  • Oversee incoming samples and DHL parcel tracking on a daily basis.
  • Approve lab dips, strike-offs, and trims.
  • Maintain sample racks, print strike-off racks, and fabric drawers in an organized manner.
  • Support Garment Technicians with QC checking for bulk production in the warehouse.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the fast-fashion industry.
  • Tertiary education in Design is essential.
  • A passion for design and style.
  • General knowledge of garment construction and application of fabrications and trims to design.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey information effectively.
  • Capacity to manage a high workload and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business.
