As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled Drafting Team Leader to join our team.

**About the Role**:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Design Team Leader to lead our drafting team. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting LIDCO's quotes and scopes of work, and using AutoCAD and LOGIKAL to create detailed drawings of window frames and cladding systems. You will present these designs to customers, ensuring they meet all specifications and requirements.

You will play a key role in the design and execution of innovative facade solutions, contributing to projects that define urban landscapes. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the drafting team to produce detailed CAD drawings for window frames and cladding systems.
- Interpret project quotes and scopes of work to develop accurate and comprehensive design plans.
- Utilize AutoCAD and LOGIKAL to create technical drawings for customer presentations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications.
- Coordinate with external trades to ensure seamless integration of all design elements.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from team members and clients. Maintain and organize CAD files, ensuring all drawings are up-to-date and properly archived.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for project submissions and approvals.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions. Ensure effective communication with team members and building professionals.
- Proficiency in CAD software, with strong skills in AutoCAD and LOGIKAL.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, accurate drawings.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proactive learning attitude and ability to learn from team members.
- Understanding of building construction and facade systems.
- Experience in facade design and detailing.
- Knowledge of commercial window systems & cladding systems ensuring correct products are selected.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Relevant architectural drafting qualification.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Rotating roster

Licence/Certification:

- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
