Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Development Manager to join our team Reporting to the Manager of Strategy & Planning, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a diverse range of functions and deliverables that are essential to the Development and Precinct Plan.
Your expertise will ensure seamless transitions from planning to project delivery, safeguarding our interests while fostering collaboration and innovation. If you are a dynamic leader with a passion for managing complex projects and engaging with stakeholders, we invite you to make a significant impact in this exciting position
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multiple divisions to coordinate initiatives related to precinct development, reconfiguration changes, and trade facilitation processes.
- Drive the preparation of an updated Precinct Plan, ensuring smooth transitions from planning to project delivery.
- Work closely with the Assets and Services Division interests while developing robust business cases as needed.
- Engage with the Commercial and Customer Division to advance development plans and explore new opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive scopes, goals, and deliverables for initiatives, including timelines, resources, and risk management strategies.
- Monitor and track project outcomes, managing risks, conflicts, and interdependencies to ensure successful delivery.
- Prepare and deliver progress reports on milestones, deliverables, and key issues.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in program management, development planning, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, particularly in a trade and commercial context.
- Experience with major infrastructure projects and familiarity with technical components.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written and report writing.
- Excellent organisational abilities, managing complex actions to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all levels.
- Innovative problem-solving and lateral thinking capabilities.
- Proven negotiation and issues management skills.
