About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at NSW Health. As a key member of our workforce development team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies to attract and retain top talent across our rural and regional areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and expansion of the Rural and Regional Incentive Scheme, working closely with organizational leaders to ensure successful recruitment and retention of staff.
  • Develop and manage projects designed to attract, recruit, and retain staff within NSW Health's rural and regional areas.
  • Provide expert guidance on workforce and recruitment activities, working closely with organizational leaders to achieve business-focused HR and recruitment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement governance processes to achieve compliance and reduce risk.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • Recent practical work experience in a client-focused workforce/recruitment environment with relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret information, solve problems creatively, and achieve business-focused HR and recruitment outcomes.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and experience working in a high-volume and demanding environment with a capacity to proactively prioritize competing demands and achieve results with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent verbal and written expression, and the ability to interact with various levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing governance processes to achieve compliance and reduce risk.
