About Our Client

As part of their commitment to delivering cutting-edge educational experiences, I am on the hunt for a talented Procurement Specialist (IT). This role will be integral to the successful execution of a large-scale digital transformation project, ensuring the acquisition of the right technology solutions that will empower the educators, learners, and administrative teams.

Job Description

The Procurement Specialist (IT) will play a critical role in the planning and implementation of our strategic digital initiatives. You will be responsible for the procurement of IT products, services, and solutions that align with the objectives of our digital transformation project. This role requires a combination of strong procurement expertise, technical knowledge, and a strategic mindset to ensure that all digital deliverables are supported by the right technology, on time and within budget.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in IT procurement or a similar role, ideally within a digital transformation or project-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT products and services, including hardware, software, cloud solutions, and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience managing procurement in a large-scale, strategic project environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships effectively.
  • Solid understanding of contract management, procurement processes, and supplier performance evaluation.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, contract management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
