About the role
Leadership: Our Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships, Athena Thompson, is the leader of this role. Athena is passionate about the future of AI and is excited to partner with you on the strategic relationship we have in place with Microsoft. She sits on our Executive team and is based in Sydney.
As an APAC Microsoft Alliance Specialist, you’ll own the strategic relationship with Microsoft, understanding objectives and aligning them with Insights value proposition. We will count on you to drive demand and grow market share, exceed sales targets and maximise profitability. Along the way, you will get to:
- Understand Microsoft’s growth strategies and align these with Insight’s objectives
- Connect the dots between Microsoft’s Partner Center and our solutions, to enable new income opportunities
- Partner with key internal teams to ensure our marketplace offerings adapt in line with the market
- Track performance against Microsoft local and global targets.

What we’re looking for
- Microsoft Cloud experience and capability
- Strong understanding of sales processes and solution-selling techniques
- A familiarity with vendor portals, marketing funding and supplier reimbursement programs and processes.
- An experienced presenter, with an ability to captivate a diverse range of audiences
