Job Summary

As a Critical Environment Technician in Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the critical infrastructure that powers our cloud services. This includes coordinating with suppliers, recognizing safe work environments, and performing maintenance tasks. Additionally, you will respond to onsite incidents, use telemetry to monitor equipment performance, and collaborate with other critical facilities professionals.

Responsibilities

- Serve as an operations specialist in one major area of CE operations (e.g., electrical, mechanical, controls, generators).
- Inspect and supervise critical environment-related facility equipment (e.g., controls, HVAC, mechanical systems).
- Utilize internal computerized maintenance management systems to track equipment assets and complete work orders.
- Safely respond to onsite incident response teams and coordinate with other critical facilities professionals.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of mission critical services work/applied learning experience.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
