Role Description/Criteria

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator with a passion for student wellbeing for the position of Assistant Director of Students (Years 10-12) . This role will assist in fostering student wellbeing and ensuring the smooth coordination of activities for Years 10-12, working closely with the Director of Students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Students to support the welfare, discipline, and academic progress of students
  • Assist in managing student behaviour and adherence to the College's Behaviour Management Policy
  • Oversee the implementation of pastoral care programs in line with College guidelines
  • Monitor the delivery of key year-level activities, such as the Year 12 Formal and Year 10 Work Experience
  • Foster a caring, orderly learning environment that supports students' personal development and wellbeing

The position will commence at the beginning of the 2025 school year and will hold a full-time ongoing teaching role on appointment, with a leadership tenure of 2 years. The successful candidate will ideally be able to fulfil an existing teaching role in Maths, Science, or English, although this is not a limiting factor for applicants who are otherwise the right fit for the school.
