Director of Student Residential Management

The Associate Director, Student Residential Services, is responsible for overseeing the management of Student Residences and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and facilities. This includes budget management, strategic planning, policy development, and addressing serious misconduct and welfare cases.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Advise university leaders on matters impacting the residences and ensure compliance with legislation.
- Develop initiatives to enhance student experience, occupancy, and revenue.
- Plan and manage budgets, review accommodation fees, and recommend expenditures.
- Provide strong leadership and collaborate with university and community stakeholders.
- Ensure Resident Advisors are trained and manage misconduct and welfare cases.
- Maintain compliance with records management policies and financial reporting requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in a residential or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of budget management and financial planning.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
- Experience in policy development and compliance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage emergency situations.
