Event Communciations Officer

Halcyon Knights is looking for a skilled Event Communications Coordinator to join a dynamic state government department based in Adelaide CBD.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale event, contributing to strategic communications, event management, and stakeholder engagement.
Contract Duration: 03 Months
Start: ASAP
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Collaborate with the in-house Event Manager and event team to ensure seamless execution of a major event.
- Liaise with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to coordinate communications and event activities.
- Develop, draft, and implement an effective action plan for the event.
- Coordinate the design, print, and delivery of publications and event materials, ensuring attention to detail.
- Produce and manage high-quality content and communications materials, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Work within a cross-functional team to ensure cohesive event execution and messaging.
- Report to the Team Leader: Strategic Communications and Digital to align event communications with broader departmental goals.0
ABOUT YOU
- Strong background in event management and communications, ideally within a government or corporate environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multiple aspects of event delivery.
- Proven experience liaising with a wide range of stakeholders and working in cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft clear action plans and deliverables.
- Experience managing the end-to-end production of publications, from design to print.
