Event Coordinator Specialist

Salary Package
The successful candidate will be offered a salary commensurate with experience and skills, along with CEDA's broader benefits package, including flexible working conditions, additional week of leave at year-end, wellbeing leave, and commitment to learning and development.
A salary in the range of AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum is expected based on industry standards and location.
Job Description
As a key member of our state-based team in Adelaide, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end events logistics and managing ad hoc day-to-day office operations. This role requires a dynamic and self-driven individual who can manage and deliver innovative, high-quality face-to-face, hybrid, and digital events on a permanent ongoing basis.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and administering face-to-face and digital event planning, marketing, and pre, during, and post-event delivery;
- Building, publishing, and marketing events as per programming and marketing deadlines using the CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and CMS;
- Supporting sponsor relationships by managing deliverables according to contract arrangements for events;
- Participating in virtual roundtables and providing support to speaker, host, and attendees;
- Preparing event materials, and administration including event budgets and reporting;
- Providing daily customer service contact and response to enquiries around events, as well as wider CEDA activities;
- Ad-hoc office management activities to deliver effective daily operation.
You will report to the Associate Director, Content Programming, and will be part of a multifunctional, multidisciplinary national team valuing collegiate team effort and alignment to CEDA values.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- At least 2+ years' experience in event management and coordination;
- Demonstrated high-level accuracy, efficiency, and organisational skills, combined with strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Experience and confidence in engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders;
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills;
- An experienced CRM/CMS user and highly proficient in MS Office;
- A keen interest in current and emerging public policy issues;
- A critical thinker passionate about innovation and commercial awareness.
