About the Role
 We're seeking an experienced Industrial Relations specialist for a 6-month contract role focusing on complex IR matters, including dispute resolution, Enterprise Agreement development, and payroll remediation projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the preparation and management of a significant workplace dispute proceeding to Fair Work arbitration
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel on evidence gathering and case preparation
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with unions and employee representatives
  • Support witnesses through the dispute process, with particular attention to wellbeing and psychosocial considerations
  • Review and analyse historical documentation to build case evidence
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making in IR matters

About You
 You will bring a strong Industrial Relations background with demonstrated experience in:

  • Fair Work Commission proceedings and in particular litigation experience
  • Enterprise Agreement development and implementation
  • Dispute resolution and arbitration
  • Stakeholder management
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple complex workstreams
  • Experience in gathering and preparing evidence for workplace disputes
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to support and manage sensitive witness interactions
  • Although not essential, a legal qualification would be useful for this contract as well as extensive IR experience from working in Australia.

This organisation offers hybrid working with an expectation that you will work 2 days a week in the office and they are based in Sydney CBD close to public transport.
