The Role: 

In this permanent full time role as a Creative & Client Strategist at oOhmedia you will play a key member of our creative and innovation hub, POLY, being in market, driving the development of insightful, big ideas that exceed client expectations, achieve results and win business for oOh.  

You will create insight-led campaign strategies that drive the right approach, to the right idea, across multiple OOH platforms, and to effectively respond to briefs. 

Your internal responsibilities (50% of the role) include:  

  • Leading responses to creative briefs from advertising agencies 
  • Researching and developing strategic insights to support creative ideation across Out of Home media 
  • Leading internal brainstorms and idea development as well as collaborating across creative teams to define objectives and problem solve 
  • Strategically applying the latest platform, industry, creative trends, and digital best practices 

Your external responsibilities (50% of the role) include: 

  • Creative business development — working alongside our Sydney sales team, leveraging our client relationships through strategic creative opportunities 
  • Developing compelling stories in presentations to sell OOH creative ideas and media opportunities, as well as delivering to clients in market 
  • Leading external workshops, brainstorms as collaborative creative sessions with media agencies, creative agencies and brands 

What success will look like: 

With a minimum of 3 years of advertising experience, developing and creating ideas, campaign strategies for OOH and/or other media will set you apart from the pack You’ll have held an exciting portfolio of previously executed projects that have delivered measurable results for clients.  

A creative salesperson at heart, you are passionate about championing how OOH creativity can deliver on client objectives. 

In addition, you will have: 

  • Exceptional communication skills, to express creative strategy and great creative solutions simply and succinctly 
  • Confident presentation skills, presenting not only your work to agencies, but also establishing market relationships with media agency strategists 
  • A creative storyteller who understands how to connect with our target audiences across all channels using great copy, imagery/video and solution-based ideas 
  • A self-motivated go-getter who has a proactive approach and ability to juggle multiple, fast-moving projects at once with ease  
  • A bold experimenter who is constantly looking for new ways to surprise, delight, and inspire our consumers through the power of creativity in OOH  
  • Understanding of industry and digital best practices coupled with a strong knowledge of platform/Industry/creative trends, in order to articulate and strategically apply to creative solutions.
