IDEXX has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Accounts Manager to join our team in Australia & New Zealand. Creating enduring and sustainable strategic partnerships with our corporate veterinary customers, this role will see you developing strong business relationships with important corporate accounts. Reporting to the Head of Corporate & Strategic Accounts ANZ, and preferably based in either Sydney or Melbourne you will take your place in IDEXX’s global corporate accounts organisation. As a valued member of our extended Sales team, you will support the achievement of our overall company financial objectives.

What you can expect

You will take the day-to-day account management lead for dedicated customers, working across all customer functions to execute our plans. A strong collaborator you will engage broadly within IDEXX to deliver on the needs of our customers.

You will take responsibility for the execution of IDEXX marketing campaigns and programs within your account base. Working with Commercial colleagues to ensure successful uptake.

You will focus your efforts on operationalising agreed plans by being the central lead across ‘above clinic’ managers and influencers by establishing strong relationships and engagement discipline to ensure success. Working closely with IDEXX customer facing team members, you will engage at clinic level to achieve our desired outcomes.

You will support the Head of Corporate & Strategic Accounts ANZ in managing negotiations in consultation with key internal stakeholders, to achieve win/ wins for the customers and long-term business objectives for IDEXX.

You will collaborate with the sales leadership team and other key functions to develop a cohesive, long-term strategy, ensuring clear lines of communication with the field sales team to enable flawless execution with a top/down and bottoms/up account management strategy.

The Successful Candidate

Relevant corporate account experience, with demonstrated success growing strategic customer relationships

Successful management of a product and service-based portfolio

Experience with critical analysis and problem-solving skills to deliver resourceful, innovative solutions

A strong independent thinker with a passion for crunching numbers and delving into data

Experience collaborating cross functionally in a matrixed environment

Experience with selling & negotiation, including excellent presentation & facilitation skills

Strong business acumen,

A background in a veterinary, diagnostic, medical or other life science industry

The ability to collaborate, influence and motivate others in driving business objectives

The ability to travel regularly (approx. 25-50%)
