About the role:

The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible to lead the development, implementation and optimisation of marketing strategies and associated initiatives across a broad portfolio. Driving the team to execute and deliver performance through impactful advertising campaigns and initiatives through fully integrated marketing campaigns to meet growth and product divisional objectives.

As a senior member of the marketing team, you will lead a growing team of managers and specialists incorporating market intelligence gathered regarding consumer, media and competitive insights and trends. 

Main responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development and manage the execution of marketing plans across a diverse portfolio  using data driven insights, sound logic, rationale and supporting data to build long term brand equity, generate enquiry and drive profitable sales growth.
  • Redefine, optimise and report on marketing activities and materials, including advertising, partnerships, local area marketing, creative, search, digital marketing, and general marketing as required.
  • Lead, coach and develop all direct reports in understanding, shaping and implementing the marketing strategy whilst ensuring they remain focused on achieving their personal development plan.
  • Ensure brand and risk & compliance of all marketing initiatives.
  • Manage the post implementation analysis/review to enable understanding of communication program effectiveness.
  • Ensure HCF’s internal stakeholders are involved in projects enabling regular and appropriate feedback on material and campaigns.
  • Oversee the preparation of annual marketing budgets and be accountable for the efficient and effective spend of marketing funds across assigned strategic campaigns/projects.
  • Produce marketing activities and materials as required on time, meeting corporate standards for brand, design and writing.
  • Initiate and maintain regular communication with key business units regarding promotion and/or communication activities.
  • End-to-end campaign management ensuring it’s completed accurately, on time and on budget

Role requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in communications or advertising/marketing or related field
  • Strong background in marketing, campaign and media planning, creative production processes across offline and online.
  • Prior experience in leading a developing a team
  • Demonstrated strategic agility with the ability to take a vison and make it happen
  • A creative mindset and a desire to disrupt and deliver at speed
  • Well-developed project management skills and a track record of delivery
  • 10 or more years of experience in a senior marketing role, or agency management experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to nuance messaging of complex topics for different audiences.
  • Results driven, you are a champion of the brand working cross-functionally on all growth initiatives to bring our experience and expertise together ensuring excellence in the development and execution of our brand and communication plans. 
  • Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively and build strong relationships with peers, Managers and Heads of Business Units
  • Be a good problem solver, with passion for technology and innovation.
