There is an exciting opportunity for the right Head Chef to be involved in the start up of a new brewery that has just opened in Inner Sydney. We're looking for someone as passionate as us in providing patrons with delicious, fresh, innovative dishes that will complement the equally fabulous ales on offer.
Your responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring the operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Planning and designing menus.
  • Calculating costs and keeping them to a minimum while still ensuring quality service and product.
  • Establishing and managing supplier relationships.
  • Leading the team.
  • Overseeing food prep, cooking and cleaning processes and not being too superior to get in there and get your hands dirty.
  • Always being on the lookout for areas and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene, food safety and health regulations.
  • Liaising and reporting to the Owner.
  • Delegating tasks and resolving issues as they arise.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in multiple cuisines (experience in street food is a bonus).
  • Must have full Australian work rights.
