We're looking for a talented Head Chef to join our team and help us deliver exceptional dining experiences to our patrons. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, planning and designing menus that showcase our passion for innovative and delicious food, and leading a team of passionate cooks and chefs. Your responsibilities will include:Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the efficient operation of the kitchen and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Developing and implementing menus that reflect our commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and showcasing our creativity and expertise.
  • Managing kitchen costs and ensuring that we maintain a competitive edge while delivering exceptional value to our customers.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers and ensuring that we source the best ingredients for our dishes.
  • Leading and motivating our culinary team to deliver exceptional results and providing coaching and guidance to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  • Overseeing food preparation, cooking, and cleaning processes to ensure that we maintain the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes that will enhance our operations and customer experience.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including food safety and health regulations.
  • Liaising with our owner to ensure that we are meeting our business objectives and providing regular updates on our progress.
  • Delegating tasks and resolving issues as they arise to ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Experience in multiple cuisines, with a passion for innovative and delicious food.
  • Full Australian work rights.
