What you'll do:

- Work in a highly collaborative manner with sales and account management teams to understand and document customer requirements, recommend solutions in line with Comms business plans, and set expectations for delivery timelines (working closely with the Delivery, Supply Chain and Installation teams).
- Provide technical pre-sales support acting as an interface between Sales, Product, finance, Technology and National Account customers.
- Produce technically and commercially competitive solution, actively engaging with various teams across Sky.
- Be responsible for edge devices configuration, change management and version control protocols working alongside the Technical Architect.
- Work with Technical Engineers in proof of concepts for new and existing customers whilst ensuring all documentation is shared with the customer support teams during the handover process.
- Work with the Technical Engineers/ Architect by preparing and conducting demonstrations, trials, proof-of-concepts, whiteboard discussions, sales support documentation and technical sales presentations.
- Attend meetings with new and existing customers to determine requirements ensuring all information is captured working towards producing a solution.
- Have technical understanding of Wireless, Networking, VoIP, UCaaS and SD-WAN technologies.
- Lead development of high-level and low-level solution design activities, including RF designs.
- Troubleshooting and identifying solutions to technical problems (collaborate with network operations team to identify resolution to complex issues impacting customers and/or the WiFi network)

What you'll bring:

- Experience of working in Technical Presales design/ engineering or post-sales implementation and support in telecommunications
- Strong knowledge of Communications products, documenting customer requirements and recommending solutions.
- Understanding of technologies such as SD-WAN, UCaaS, Backhaul technologies (e.g. xDSL, FTTP, Ethernet, 4/5G) and Security (desirable)
- Team player who cherishes and enables a one team collaborative culture, ready to roll sleeves up and manage multiple initiatives.
- Exceptional stakeholder and customer relationship management skills
- Comfortable working with multiple vendors (e.g. Ruckus, Cisco, Juniper, Linux)
- Experience of using Ekahau for desktop design, site surveys, reporting and troubleshooting (Desirable)
- Ability to communicate both in a technical and non-technical manner to the desired audience
